Interlocking flooring solves two problems at once. You are not cutting a continuous sheet to fit an awkward room, and when one section takes damage you replace that section rather than the whole floor.

What is the difference between the foam mats and the PVC tiles?
The EVA foam mats are 20mm and cushioned, which suits gyms and play areas. The PVC tiles are 4mm and rigid, which suits workshops and commercial floors where you want durability without raising the floor level.
Can I lay interlocking flooring in an odd shaped room?
Yes. That is the main reason people choose it. The tiles connect to one another so the floor follows the shape of the room, and edge tiles can be trimmed to finish against a wall.
What happens when one tile gets damaged?
You lift that tile out and drop a replacement in. With a continuous sheet floor the same damage usually means relaying a much larger area.
Which option is best for a commercial kitchen?
Rubber Linkmats. They are 16mm, they link into a continuous cover, and the open drainage means spills go through the mat rather than sitting on the surface.
